SAMPLE TEACHING TOPICS

Jumping for Joy

Sometimes we allow busy lives and difficult circumstances to steal the joy God has for us. Kathy will show you truths from God’s Word that will help you recapture the joy of Jesus!

Unshakeable:

We women are usually prepared for anything, but is our faith prepared to withstand the storms of life? Kathy shows women how to prepare for trials and weather them with God’s help.

Basic Training:

This “spiritual boot camp” will equip the women of your church for the front lines of faith. They’ll be solidly grounded in the core beliefs of Christianity; gain confidence to share Jesus; and learn to stand firm in today’s culture. (Let Kathy customize this event for your group. It can include a combination of large group sessions and breakouts on topics like: Relationship evangelism, comparative religions, spiritual disciplines, and intentional spiritual growth.)

Before His Throne:

Deepen your relationship with God and be set free from worldly worries. (This topic can be offered as a one or two-session retreat to kick-off a group study of Before His Throne.)

Holy & Free:

Embrace holiness and find freedom! Take a journey with Kathy from Mt. Sinai to the foot of Christ’s cross. Experience God’s holiness and discover what holiness should look like in the lives of His people. Is holiness possible? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely!

Prayer Power:

Prayer is miraculous and mysterious, but oh so practical. Kathy will lead you through Scripture to explore how God desires to transform your life through prayer.

We’re Not Getting Older, We’re Getting Brighter:

Society tells us the older we get, the less attractive we become. Kathy humorously contradicts society’s view with biblical truth. The older we become in Christ, the more attractive to others His light within us becomes. You will not want to hide it!

This interactive workshop will equip you to meet the needs of your unique group. Learn how to: involve the entire group in effective discussion; handle group dynamics and different personalities; identify and train new leaders; and work with people of varying levels of spiritual maturity including seekers and new Christians.

This practical and helpful workshop was developed from Kathy’s years of experience teaching and ministering to seekers.

Like physical training, spiritual growth requires discipline. Learn tools for Bible study, prayer, journaling, Scripture memorization, and more that can help foster spiritual maturity.
