Question 5 about the Passover. Every sermon I have heard preached about the Passover it is paired with them leaving Egypt. So I have never heard it being attributed to the 10th plague itself. Just that the blood over the door posts is what allowed them to leave slavery in Egypt. So now I see how the correct answer is the correct one.
Thanks for taking the quiz Teresa! It is true that the Passover was established just as God was about to bring them out of Egypt. But as you saw in Exodus 12, it was established specifically to remember God’s protection when on Israel when He struck the firstborn of Egypt.
I missed 3 but I am reading the bible and doing bible studies so I expect to get better. It was a really good trivia and for me anyway some of the questions made you think
Interesting challenge to how much I’ve learned over the years. (I did miss three.)
Two observations: #6 begins with word “where”; should it be “what”? Also, my test results state I “scored in the top percent”; should there be a number before the word “top”?
Thanks for inviting me to try this out.
Yes, I just fixed #6. Thanks for the input! And there isn’t a percentage but you should have gotten a count for the number right you got! I’d love to do a percentage but haven’t figured out to do that yet!
I missed 2 I should have known. Great review and a reminder that we do need to read the Word. Thanks Kathy.
thanks for taking it and great job!
Thank you Kathy. The ones I got wrong are exactly the ones that I was going back and forth with the correct answer. I felt the questions weren’t too hard but not too easy also.
I missed six. I grew up in church and lately have felt so overwhelmed with studying and learning again, as I felt like I have to start over. This quiz reminded me while I have a lot to learn, there is also a lot I already know. It has helped me feel less overwhelmed about where to begin.
Thanks for working through the quiz! I’m excited to hear you want to dig deeper into Scripture! Let me know if I can help!
Great quiz! I missed three. 😳
Thanks for taking the quiz!
Well, I was hoping for a 100 but I missed one. I really could not remember about the metaphor of Jesus and the big fish. Lol
Good score!
I was shocked that I only missed 1! I enjoy taking quizzes like this one. It was fun and reminds me that I am retaining what I have read; been having some memory issues. I have read the Bible completely every year since 2020. It feels weird if I don’t start my morning with scripture & coffee! 😁
The best habit anyone can have!
I missed three. 5,6 and 18. #6 I should have known by the wording “ God dwelling with Israel”. He wanted to be with them wherever they went. #5 was a stumper but now that I think about it, it’s the blood of Jesus that saves us and allows us to pass from slavery into new life. And # 18 definitely had me fooled. It’s not about confessing Jesus as Lord. It’s living the Christian life through the power of the Holy Spirit. Thanks Kathy. I enjoyed taking the quiz
I missed two easy ones, taking it with an active grandbaby grabbing at me. lol Great quiz and will help many, I am sure.
Thanks Mel for taking the time!
This is a very enjoyable quiz. Thank you!
thanks for taking the quiz!
Great Bible quiz, Kathy! ❤️📖
Thanks!
Thanks for taking it!
This was fun. I got them all right, but wasn’t totally sure about one.
